Heavy Plant Fitters

Human Engineering is seeking several experienced and motivated Heavy Plant Engineers to work on projects across the UK. This is a permanent position, offering excellent benefits, career development, and the opportunity to work on national assignments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs heavy plant and related equipment.
  • Conduct fault-finding, troubleshooting, and electrical diagnostics.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
  • Work on national projects, with travel and overnight stays as required.
  • Maintain accurate service records and documentation.
  • Collaborate with the engineering team to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

Experience

Proven experience in heavy plant machinery maintenance.

  • Qualifications

  • Engineering qualifications (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent preferred).

  • Valid industry certifications (e.g., BS7671 Wiring Regulations, LOLER knowledge is advantageous).
  • Eligibility:
    Must be a UK/British passport holder due to clearance checks.
  • Flexibility:
    Willing to travel and work away from home on national projects.
  • Skills:
    Strong problem-solving ability, attention to detail, and commitment to safety protocols.
  • License:
    Valid UK driving license.
