Inverness IV ED, United Kingdom NHS Scotland Full time £25,000 - £40,000 per year

We are currently seeking adaptable, and patient focused candidates to work within our North Ambulance Control Centre as part of our busy Scheduled Care team.

This role involves national call handling, planning, and controlling our Patient Transport vehicles to ensure patients, where eligible are provided with Ambulance transport suitable for their needs. As part of this dynamic role, you will communicate with patients on the telephone, liaise with ambulance crews, Health Boards, and other organisations to ensure the effective running of the service.

Candidates must be able to demonstrate an ability to work effectively under pressure and with minimal supervision. Strong computer and keyboard skills (at least 30wpm) are essential, and evidence of effective communication and problem solving are required. Full system training will be provided.

These posts are full time, 37 hours over seven days and are relief positions. As a relief member of staff unsocial working hours will be required.
