Our friendly team at Meallmore are looking for a Activity Coordinator to join them in Culduthel Care Home. Located within the heart of the Highlands, Culduthel is tastefully designed to be light and spacious with gardens designed to create an attracted space to enjoy outdoors. Our purpose-built care home provides high quality, personalised nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia and its related conditions.

With your natural ability to build relationships, you’ll enjoy engaging with our elderly residents as you help them to create moments that matter.

You already know that the little things are important. We’d love you to use that knowledge, and your enthusiasm for making a difference, as you encourage our residents to explore their local community.

You don’t have to have been an Activity Coordinator before to succeed in this role, you may have gained previous experience by providing care or support to a family member or perhaps you even acted as a volunteer more recently for the ‘Scotland Cares’ campaign.

**Responsibilities and duties**:

- Supporting the development of an innovative and engaging activities programmes that reflects individual needs
- Supporting the development of an active and diverse network of activity suppliers in the community
- Documenting and evidencing activities for families and the Care Inspectorate

**Qualifications and skills**:

- Previous experience in a similar role or volunteering experience is desirable
- Strong communication and relationship building skills

**Salary**: £11.15 per hour + overtime + benefits

Hours: 37.5 hours per week
