Casual Front of House Staff – Haystack

Hours: As required, flexible shifts - part time (potential for full time available)

About Us:

Haystack is a welcoming and vibrant space known for serving great coffee, honest food, and warm hospitality. We're building a reliable team of casual front of house staff who can step in as needed to support our core team during busy periods, events, or staff holidays.

The Role:

We're looking for friendly, proactive individuals to join our bank of casual staff. This is a flexible, on-call role – perfect if you're looking to pick up shifts around your schedule. Shifts will vary and are not guaranteed, but you'll be part of our go-to pool when we need an extra pair of hands.

You'll be:

  • Greeting and serving customers with warmth and efficiency
  • Taking orders, running food and drinks, and keeping the space tidy
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the front of house
  • A team player who's happy to muck in wherever needed

You'll need:

  • A positive, can-do attitude
  • Good communication skills and a calm approach under pressure
  • Previous hospitality experience is a plus, but not essential
  • Availability at short notice (ideally including weekends)
