Senior DevOps Engineer (Azure / Kubernetes) - Mansfield HQ (Hybrid)
We're looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to join a dynamic and fast-growing team building a cutting-edge digital platform powering high-profile websites and mobile apps through modern cloud-native architecture. As a key member of this newly formed team, you'll design, deploy, and optimise Azure-based infrastructure, implement best-in-class CI/CD pipelines, and drive innovation across our microservices and containerised environments.
What you'll do:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable, secure, and resilient infrastructure on Microsoft Azure.
- Develop and manage Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform.
- Implement and optimise CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Docker, and GitOps practices.
- Deploy, orchestrate, and manage Kubernetes (AKS / Container Apps) workloads.
- Configure monitoring and observability with Azure Monitor, Application Insights, Log Analytics, and OpenTelemetry.
- Partner with software engineering and infrastructure teams to drive DevOps best practices across the organisation.
- Manage security and compliance in Azure (RBAC, NSGs, Azure Policy).
- Participate in an on-call rotation to maintain system uptime and incident response readiness.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience building and operating modern DevOps environments in Azure.
- Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Expertise in Terraform and cloud networking (VNets, load balancers, DNS).
- Hands-on experience supporting cloud-hosted systems and troubleshooting critical infrastructure.
- Familiarity with microservices, APIs, event-driven architectures, and caching solutions
- Excellent communication skills and a pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset.
- A passion for staying current with cloud and DevOps trends, with a drive for continuous improvement.
