We are a leading passive fire protection contractor delivering high-quality installations of structural protection, compartmentation & fire doors across commercial, residential, healthcare, and public sector projects. With a reputation for excellence, we're continuing to grow and are now seeking an experienced Senior Estimator to join our professional and dedicated team.

The Role

As a Senior Estimator, you'll play a key role in the pre-construction process, managing tenders from initial enquiry through to submission and client negotiation. You will work closely with our contracts and commercial teams to ensure accurate pricing, risk assessment, and value engineering on all bids.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare full estimates for structural protection including intumescent paint, boarding and cementitious spray.
  • Review and interpret fire stopping survey reports, specifications, and drawings
  • Prepare tenders for all aspects of compartmentation including firestopping, cavity barriers and fire barriers.
  • Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for passive fire protection projects.
  • Take the lead in our marketing/sales operations to bring in new clients and maintain relationships with our current clients.
  • Liaise with clients and suppliers to deliver competitive bids and quotations.
  • Manage tender submissions, clarifications, and post-tender negotiations
  • Identify risks, opportunities, and value engineering options

About You

  • Ideally proven experience in all aspects of passive fire protection.
  • Strong understanding of preparing competitive tenders and bids.
  • Excellent analytical and numerical skills with attention to detail.
  • Confident communicator able to build relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel.
  • Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple tenders simultaneously
