Role Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Qualified Dental Nurse to become a key member of our team during the practice takeover. The ideal candidate will possess a blend of clinical expertise, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering top-notch patient care. You will play a crucial role in supporting our dentists and ensuring the smooth operation of our surgeries. The practice is open 9-5 Monday to Friday, we are open to flexible working patterns/days.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist dentists in a range of procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Prepare and maintain clinical areas before and after treatments.
- Sterilise instruments and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Provide chair-side assistance during dental procedures.
- Manage patient records, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
- Offer compassionate and informative patient care, addressing any queries or concerns.
- Support the practice's administrative tasks, including scheduling appointments and managing stock supplies.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and training opportunities.

Requirements:
- Qualified Dental Nurse with GDC registration.
- Proven experience in a similar role within a dental practice.
- Strong understanding of dental procedures and infection control protocols.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Compassionate and patient-focused attitude.
- Proficient in IT and Exact SOE dental software.
