Bank Support Worker at Mill River Lodge

Salary: £13.10 per hour

Hours: Bank - Zero hours

Shift Times: As/when needed in service -12hr shifts (07:45-20:15 or 20:00-08:00)

Shaw healthcare is looking for a passionate and caring Bank Support Worker who is ready to make a positive impact at Mill River Lodge, situated in the picturesque West Sussex town of Horsham. The superb purpose built care home provides 70 spacious en-suite bedrooms for elderly service users with conditions such as Alzheimer's, Dementia, Parkinson's or other clinical diagnoses.

Job Responsibilities

As a Bank Support Worker you will be responsible for promoting physical and emotional support to our lovely service users. The will include, but not limited to:

Providing person-centred care in line with an individual's care plan

Offering personal care, which includes assistance with bathing, dressing and hygiene

Maintaining accurate documentation of care delivered, including fluid/food intake, activities and incidents

Promoting dignity, choice and inclusion

Working collaboratively as part of a team and supporting your colleagues in day-to-day duties

Maintaining a safe, happy, and caring environment
