Capital City College is seeking to appoint enthusiastic and skilled carpentry apprentice assessor to join our dynamic London-based team.

About the Role

We are looking for passionate, knowledgeable individuals to join as an hourly paid support in carpentry. Whether you're an experienced educator, a working professional seeking a new challenge, or someone with specialist industry knowledge, there's a place for you at CCC.

As an hourly-paid support, you will:
  • Deliver engaging, inclusive teaching sessions that support learners to achieve their goals
  • Share your knowledge and real-world insights to help learners develop their skills and understanding
  • Adapt your teaching to meet diverse learner needs

About You

We're looking for a passionate and committed individual with:
  • Proven experience in carpentry
  • Hold an A1 assessor's award(level 3) and a TAQWA level 4 IQA qualification to carry out IQA duties across sites and
  • ideally have experience in setting up the End Point assessments for the carpentry apprentices.
  • Excellent communication, organisation, and classroom management skills
  • A commitment to inclusive, learner-focused teaching
  • A recognised teaching qualification (or a willingness to achieve one)
You should be confident in delivering to a diverse range of learners and ready to inspire them to achieve their full potential.
