Salary up to £60,000 (DOE)
Butler Rose, public practice is delighted to be supporting our client, a Top-Ranking firm based in Wolverhampton. You will lead client account preparation, manage teams, ensure compliance with standards, and meeting deadlines. You will handle complex financial matters, maintain client relationships, and provide advisory services.
Role Requirements –
- Demonstrates a clear understanding of clients' business, objectives, challenges and risks sufficient to brief more junior colleagues on assignment and direct work accordingly
- Maintains up to date technical knowledge and awareness of wider business advisory opportunities through technical reading and attending in house departmental seminars, to identify potential issues and emerging opportunities in own and other service areas of the business.
- Demonstrates a commitment to developing team members by assigning challenging work ensuring to give support where appropriate and necessary
- Supporting managers in delegated aspects of team management such as sickness reporting and holiday approvals. Participate in the interview and selection process for new junior hires.
- Champions new technologies aimed at improving quality and efficiency and takes the lead in departmental implementation of them.
Personal Requirements -
- Holds an accountancy qualification or qualified by experience (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CA).
- Hold year end accounts discussion/meeting with client and ability to cross sell where relevant.
- Can provide meaning full interpretation of working capital ratios such as debtor days.
- Gather relevant information including detailed understanding of client working capital cycle to prepare 3 way cashflow forecast for projection purposes.
- Able to explain when prior period adjustments are required and identify appropriate course of action.
- Can review set of projections including cashflow report and apply client knowledge to identify anomalies.
- Able to prepare and document supporting assumptions rationale relating to projections and cashflows.
