Are you an experienced, local Bar Tender home for the Christmas holidays from uni?

The Griffin, a renowned 17th-century seaside pub and restaurant in stunning Dale, Pembrokeshire, is looking for a skilled and energetic Bar Tender to join our team for the busy Christmas season from 20 December to 3 January.

What You'll Be Doing:

As our seasonal Bar Tender, you'll be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the bar during our busiest time of the year.

  • Preparing and serving drinks—, local ales, wines, and spirits, cocktails—to a high standard.
  • Managing the bar area—including stock rotation, cleanliness, and adhering to licensing laws.
  • Processing orders and payments accurately and efficiently.
  • Providing excellent customer service and creating a vibrant, friendly bar atmosphere.
  • Liaising with the Front of House team to ensure seamless service.

What We're Looking For:

We require a candidate who can hit the ground running and handle the festive rush.

  • Proven experience as a Bar Tender (essential).
  • Strong knowledge of drink preparation, including basic cocktails.
  • Must be local to the Pembrokeshire area and able to commute daily.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and professional approach.
  • Availability is crucial: Must be available evenings, weekends, and key bank holidays (, Boxing Day, New Year's Eve, etc.).

Job Details:

  • Start Date: Early to Mid-December (Flexible)

  • Part-time hours: Approximately 25–40 hours per week (may vary based on demand).
