About the Role
We're seeking a highly organised and proactive HR Administrator to join our team at Name. This is an office-based role, providing essential administrative support across the HR function. You will help ensure smooth HR operations, compliance with UK employment legislation, and a positive experience for colleagues and managers.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in line with GDPR and company policies.
- Assist with recruitment administration, including job postings, interview scheduling, and onboarding new starters.
- Support HR in drafting, updating, and communicating HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with current UK employment law.
- Process HR documentation, including contracts, letters, and HR reports.
- Assist with payroll, absence management, and benefits administration where required.
- Respond to HR queries from colleagues and managers in a timely and professional manner.
- Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives, training sessions, and performance management processes.
- Generate HR metrics and reports to support business decision-making.
- Work collaboratively with the wider HR team and other departments to deliver a seamless HR service.
- Promote best practice in equality, diversity, and inclusion (EDI).
About You
- Proven experience in an HR administrator or HR support role.
- Familiarity with UK employment law, HR policies, and best practice.
- Strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and team-working skills.
- Confident using HR systems, Microsoft Office, and digital reporting tools.
- Able to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a busy office environment.
- Professional, approachable, and able to handle sensitive information with discretion.
