We have a fantastic opportunity for someone with an interest in finance and great attention to detail to join our busy team at Encon Construction in Cardiff.

This entry-level role is perfect for someone who has some basic office or accounts experience and is keen to develop further. It's ideal for someone at the start of their career, no significant experience is needed, just enthusiasm to learn and a genuine interest in accounts. You'll begin by assisting with invoice processing and general finance administration, with full training and mentoring provided to help you progress within the department.

Key responsibilities include:


• Inputting and processing supplier invoices


• Assisting with payment runs and reconciliations of supplier statements


• Supporting the wider accounts and admin team


• General office and finance administration duties

We're looking for someone who:


• Is organised, accurate, and eager to learn


• Has some familiarity with Excel and accounting software (desirable but not essential)


• Can commute to our Pentwyn, Cardiff office (free parking provided on site)


• Can work well as part of a small, friendly team


• Is interested in developing a long-term career in finance

This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a supportive environment, with the potential for future progression.

Location:
 Cardiff

Hours:
 Full-time, Monday to Friday, 9 to 5 with an early finish on Friday

Salary:
 £23,000 – £25,500 (with the possibility of study support)
