The role

This role will place you at the heart of our client's campaigns which span across multiple industries, from fitness brands to interior designers and law firms. Your responsibility will be to work directly with the Account Manager and Senior Account Assistant to deliver all aspects of an SEO campaign, from keyword research to content creation and website optimisation; achieving the targets set out by the manager and client.

During your first three months you will be trained intensively on each aspect of SEO with multiple team members, following which there will be opportunities to attend marketing events and deliver segments of marketing workshops with your account manager. At Lumen SEO we're passionate about team members crafting their own progression in the business, led by curiosity and interests. Whatever you are curious about, we will help you explore it.

This role is for those who love learning and thrive in intense environments. Your growth and our growth depends on constant discovery and not only being comfortable with but embracing failure whilst constantly looking to grow and improve. Whilst this is an entry-level position - it is not easy. The right candidate will be eager to learn, take criticism professionally and uphold high standards.

Skills required

Essential:

• Strong writing skills with experience in writing short and long-form blog/article content
• Basic understanding of what SEO is and how it works
• Focus - you maintain good work habits and do not get distracted easily
• Time planning - you are able to work across multiple campaigns and manage your time well
• Attention to detail - you can complete tasks with accuracy and consistency
• Teamwork and interpersonal - you work well and collaboratively with others to achieve set goals
• Work independently - you follow directions easily and can work self-sufficiently on assigned tasks

Desirable (one or more of the following):

• Digital design - Canva and/or Photoshop
• PR - Link building and writing press releases
• Video capture and/or editing
• Public speaking / presentation skills
• SEO Tools - SEMrush, Google Search Console, GA4

Additional information

Location of position

• Lumen SEO operates out of Space2B at The Maltings in Cardiff
• UK based with a fluid working policy - you decide how often you work at home, in-office or abroad

Start date / Month

• December 1st 2025 (flexible)

Hours

• Full time
• 32 hours per week

Expenses / Pay  

• £23,000 per annum
• We will cover travel expenses incurred whilst delivering campaigns and attending meetings
• Equipment - laptop, digital notepad, headphones and any furniture required for working comfortably and healthily at home will be provided
