Role Overview:
Growthcurve seeks an experienced
Account Director
who will become the trusted lead and strategic partner for client accounts. You will drive new business origination and closure, advise on marketing and business strategy, and deliver exceptional client service for our roster of fast-growth brands. This is a pivotal, outward-facing role at the center of our agency's commercial and client success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build, develop, and maintain strong client relationships as the primary point of contact, proactively ensuring client satisfaction and retention
- Lead strategic planning for client accounts, shaping marketing solutions that deliver measurable business impact across channels
- Originate, pitch, and close new business opportunities, actively driving growth for both client and agency
- Understand client markets, goals, and competitive landscapes to provide informed commercial and marketing advice
- Partner with internal teams (creative, growth, digital, production) to scope, deliver, and optimize complex campaigns and projects
- Manage account performance, reporting, and project delivery from onboarding to completion
- Prepare high-quality, persuasive presentations, pitch decks, and strategy materials; present confidently to clients and stakeholders
- Oversee contracts, renewals, and commercial negotiations to ensure win-win outcomes
- Identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and developing long-term client partnerships
- Stay ahead of trends in integrated marketing, digital, and business strategy
Requirements:
- 4+ years experience account managing in an agency or professional services environment, with a proven record driving client results and new business
- Expertise in marketing, advertising, and commercial strategy for multi-channel campaigns
- Outstanding presentation, pitching, and proposal development skills
- Confident communicator, able to engage senior stakeholders and manage complex client needs
- Strong commercial acumen and strategic thinking
- Track record of successfully originating and closing new business deals
- Highly organized, proactive, and collaborative, thriving in a fast-paced growth-focused agency
- Familiarity with digital marketing, branding, and performance campaigns is beneficial
