Digital Marketing and Social Media Coordinator

About the Role
We're a well-established recycling equipment company working with leading organisations and brands throughout the UK and Europe. As our business grows, we are looking to bring on a creative and proactive Digital Marketing & Social Media Coordinator to enhance our visibility online and demonstrate the value of our products and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and manage a consistent posting schedule across LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, and TikTok.
- Create original, engaging posts, reels, and short videos showcasing our products, services, and behind the scenes activity.
- Collaborate with our sales and service teams to identify content opportunities and key product highlights.
- Capture and edit photography and video content for use online and in sales materials.
- Create and distribute a monthly newsletter and weekly customer mailshots, promoting new products, servicing, rentals, and special offers.
- Report on engagement, click-through, and conversion metrics.
- Support external Google Ads and SEO, gradually reducing reliance on external agencies.
- Monitor website performance and analytics to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Work with external partners where needed to ensure brand consistency and measurable ROI.
- Assist in planning and delivering marketing campaigns aligned with seasonal or strategic goals.
- Stay up to date with digital trends and competitor activity.
- Assist with answering phones and general office tasks during busy periods.
- Attend exhibitions, customer sites, or equipment demonstrations when required (minimal travel).
Skills & Experience
- Proven experience managing business social media accounts (LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, TikTok).
- Confident using design platforms such as Canva, Adobe Express, or similar tools.
- Photography and video-editing skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Understanding of Google Ads, SEO, and analytics platforms.
- Experience with email marketing platforms (Mailchimp, HubSpot, or similar).
- Creative flair and ability to work independently.
- Confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel occasionally for exhibitions or marketing events.

- Flexible, part-time working pattern (minimum 3 days per week). Core company hours 08:00 – 17:00
