Deputy Room Leader – Join The Mulberry Bush Family

We're currently looking for a Deputy Room Leader to join our caring, creative, and passionate team.

Your Role as Deputy Room Leader:

As Deputy Room Leader, you'll support the Room Leader in delivering outstanding care and education for our little ones — while also developing your own leadership skills in a nurturing and encouraging environment.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Room Leader in planning and delivering exciting, age-appropriate activities
  • Leading the room in the Room Leader's absence
  • Guiding and inspiring a team of early years professionals
  • Building strong, loving relationships with children and families
  • Supporting care routines like feeding, nappy changes, and sleep
  • Observing and tracking children's progress to support their development
  • Promoting a fun, inclusive, and safe environment where children thrive
