Purpose of the Role
The EMEA Account Manager at Carat Media Agency plays a pivotal role in elevating Microsoft Commercial campaigns, delivering innovative media solutions for its B2B products across EMEA. Reporting to the EMEA Account Director, this position ensures strategic alignment, planning excellence, and exceptional client service while driving collaboration across internal teams.
Key Responsibilities
Client Engagement: Act as the main contact for Microsoft, managing core end-to-end B2B briefs and supporting large-scale EMEA initiatives with the Account Director.
Strategic Campaign Management: Lead planning and delivery of B2B campaigns across EMEA, ensuring strategic alignment, flawless execution, and strong ROI.
Cross-Team Collaboration: Coordinate internal teams to maintain alignment, resolve challenges, and improve processes for success.
Financial Management: Oversee account financials, including billing and reconciliation, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Performance & Insights: Prepare reports, analyse KPIs, and provide recommendations to optimise campaigns.
Market Awareness: Keep abreast of industry trends, media developments, and competitor activity to inform strategy.
Operational Excellence: Contributing towards and improving ways of working through strong organisational and process / account management skills.
Qualifications + Skills
Experience: Proven background in media planning or account management within a media agency or marketing environment; B2B planning experience highly desirable.
Digital Expertise: Strong understanding of the digital media landscape and practical experience with digital marketing platforms and tools.
Communication & Organisation: Excellent interpersonal and organisational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Analytical Ability: Skilled in interpreting data and generating actionable insights to inform planning and optimise performance.
Stakeholder Management: Ability to build strong relationships with clients and internal teams, influencing decisions and driving collaboration.
Strategic Thinking: Capable of contributing to media strategy and making data or insight backed recommendations that ensure best-in-class solutions are always considered.
Planning Excellence: Experienced in leveraging planning tools and data to rationalise and recommend channel mixes and tactics.

The team is based in our London office but operates under flexible working arrangements. The team are currently in the office every Wednesday and Thursday.
