Summary

We are seeking a passionate Nursery Nurse to join our team at Kites Nursery located in Caerleon. In this role, you will play a vital part in nurturing and educating young children, ensuring their well-being and development aligns with our mission of fostering happy, healthy learning experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality care and supervision for children in the nursery setting.
  • Develop and implement engaging developmental and educational activities tailored to children's developmental needs.
  • Foster a safe, nurturing environment that promotes children's physical, emotional, and social development.
  • Collaborate with parents and caregivers to support children's growth and learning.
  • Maintain accurate records of children's progress and communicate effectively with the team. Completing regular observations and assessments.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the nursery.
  • Support children with SEN as required.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development opportunities.

Qualifications

  • A minimum of Level 3 CCLD or CCPLD or equivalent.
  • Proven experience working with young children in a nursery or similar setting.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and best practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Ability to create a positive learning environment that encourages exploration and growth.
  • This position is subject to a clean DBS and two satisfactory references.
