Job Description

Rosara at Nicholsons are looking for a friendly and approachable individual to work in both our Tiny Café and Marketing for Rosara.

Key responsibilities:

  • Serving a range of hot and cold drinks and light bites
  • Processing all transactions through the till system
  • Setting up and clearing down and keeping the café area clean and tidy at all times
  • Marketing – playing a key role in delivering our marketing plan bringing our brand to life across digital, print and in-person channels, ensuring a consistent, high-quality presence that drives footfall and brand awareness. This will be done during down time in the café.
  • Horticultural duties as time allows.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Have strong written and visual communication skills (a degree in marketing or communication would be an advantage.
  • Be confident with social media and email marketing platforms and tools (Instagram, Facebook, etc).
  • Be enthusiastic, proactive and willing to get involved in all aspects of marketing and events.
  • Have excellent spoken English.
  • Be confident, public facing and able to take initiative.
  • Be able to combine creativity with commercial awareness.
  • Have excellent organisational and time-management skills.
  • Previous hospitality experience.

Desirable:

  • Experience working in retail, lifestyle, or hospitality marketing.
  • Knowledge of Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar design tools.
  • An interest in gardening, interiors, or seasonal living.
  • Barista & food handling training.

Your own transport is essential due to our remote location.

This position is 5 days per week Tuesday to Saturdays, 9.00am to 5.00pm. This may include bank holiday working, as well as occasional support with evening events.
