About Us

The Hamworthy Club is a well-established multi-purpose venue boasting busy food, sports, function and events trade. We pride ourselves on delivering great-quality, freshly prepared food with excellent hospitality. We are now seeking an experienced Chef de Partie to join our kitchen team as we continue to develop our food offering.

The Role

As Chef de Partie, you will support our kitchen operation by running your own section confidently, preparing high-quality dishes, and supporting the wider brigade. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a fast-paced environment with variety — from day-to-day menu service to match days, functions and events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare, cook and present dishes to a high standard
  • Maintain consistent quality across busy service periods
  • Run an allocated kitchen section independently
  • Support menu planning and specials development
  • Ensure excellent food hygiene standards and compliance at all times
  • Assist in stock control, deliveries, and waste reduction
  • Work closely with the Head Chef/Sous Chef and wider team
  • Maintain a clean, organised and safe kitchen environment

Skills & Experience

Previous CDP experience in a busy kitchen

Experience running a section confidently

Strong understanding of kitchen hygiene & food safety

Ability to work quickly and efficiently under pressure

A genuine passion for cooking and fresh ingredients

Team-player with a positive attitude
