Weekend Jet Wash Operator & Driver – Central London (16 hours/week)

Saturday & Sunday | 8-hour shifts | £Living Wage | Electric Vehicle | Immediate Start

Are you someone who takes pride in keeping streets spotless and enjoys being out and about in the city? The Welcome People are on the lookout for a reliable and motivated Jet Wash Operator & Driver to join our team for weekend shifts only – that's Saturday and Sunday, 8 hours per day.

We're an award-winning street management and ambassadorial services company, working with Business Improvement Districts and private estates across London and the South of England. As a Living Wage and Investors in People employer, we value our people as much as the places we care for.

What you'll be doing:

  • Driving an electric janitorial vehicle equipped with a high-pressure jet washer
  • Flushing key areas of Central London, ensuring streets are clean, safe, and welcoming
  • Supporting general street cleaning tasks including graffiti removal
  • Clearing hotspots of detritus
  • Working independently or as part of a team, setting up safe work zones, and following health and safety best practices

About you:

  • You must have a full UK driving licence (min. 5 years' experience)
  • You're physically fit, comfortable working on your feet and outdoors in all weather
  • You're dependable, practical, and happy to work under your own initiative
  • Prior cleaning or jet-washing experience is a bonus – but full training is provided

The Details:

  • Hours: Saturdays & Sundays, 8am–4pm (16 hours/week)
  • Location: Central London
  • Contract: Permanent, part-time
  • Start: ASAP
