Care Support Worker

Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals in need with mental health issues in a residential setting . This position requires a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for our clients through personalised care and assistance.
Duties
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, dressing
- Provide patient care with empathy and respect, fostering a supportive environment.
- Engage in behaviour management techniques to support clients with challenging behaviours.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals, including nurses, to ensure comprehensive care plans are followed.
- Maintain accurate records of client progress and any changes in condition.
- Offer emotional support to clients and their families.
- Participate in training sessions to enhance skills in first aid and other relevant areas.
Requirements
- Previous experience in a support worker role or similar position is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient care principles and practices.
- Experience in behaviour management techniques
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team environment are crucial.
