Monitoring Senior Software Developer

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop sophisticated monitoring systems using tools like Dataminer, Grafana, and custom integrations.
  • Maintain real-time observability across broadcast and media platforms, optimising system performance and uptime.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate monitoring requirements into scalable, innovative technical solutions.
  • Integrate monitoring tools into CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
  • Build and maintain dashboards, alerting logic, and data pipelines to support proactive issue detection.
  • Apply DevOps and SRE principles to improve system reliability and reduce operational toil.
  • Evolve monitoring architectures through modern approaches such as microservices, APIs, and containerisation.
  • Participate in code reviews, mentoring, and ongoing optimisation initiatives.

What You'll Bring:

  • Proven experience developing and integrating monitoring platforms (Dataminer, Grafana, or similar).
  • Deep understanding of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code.
  • Proficiency in C#, Python, and scripting for automation and telemetry systems.
  • Strong knowledge of APIs, metrics, and log management.
  • Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud-native environments.
  • Excellent collaboration, communication, and problem-solving skills with a drive for continuous improvement.
