As we continue to expand our provision, we are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Senior Nursery Practitioner who is ready to take the next step in their career and contribute meaningfully to our mission of excellence in early years care and education.

The Opportunity

This role is ideal for a highly experienced Deputy Room Manager seeking progression. You will be joining a dynamic and supportive team where career development is clearly outlined from the outset, and where your contributions will be valued and nurtured. Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver the Nannie Annie's curriculum demonstrating our vision and values in daily practice
  • Build and maintain strong, respectful relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Ensure safeguarding and child welfare procedures are rigorously upheld
  • Produce high-quality child development reports and contribute to planning and assessment
  • Support and mentor junior staff, fostering a culture of excellence and reflective practice

We are offering two fantastic work patterns to suit your lifestyle:

  • Full-time – 45 hours, Mon-Friday, 8am-6pm
  • 4-day option – 36 hours, 4 days, 8am-6pm
  • Salary up to £35k per annum

You
Must
Have:

  • Minimum Level 3 qualification in Early Years Education (Level 5 or above desirable)
  • A current DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
  • Previous experience in a nursery or early years setting
  • Previous experience of room leadership/management
  • A genuine passion for early years education and commitment to child development
  • Strong understanding of the EYFS
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
  • Proven experience working with children in an early year setting
  • A nurturing, emotionally intelligent, and proactive approach
  • A commitment to professional growth and continuous improvement
