Stock Operative

Our Stock Operations team is looking for a Stock Operative to ensure all merchandise deliveries are processed efficiently and accurately, and that stock is stored appropriately to the Harrods standard. This is a key role where you will work alongside the Stock Control Specialist, maintaining stock integrity and supporting the sales floor with replenishment.
About the Role
In this role you will be responsible for the accurate and efficient management of stock, from processing deliveries to managing the stockroom and ensuring shop floor readiness. You will be reporting to the Stock Operations Manager and responsible for adhering to all stock management processes.
Day-to-day responsibilities will include:
- Deliveries Unpack and check off deliveries against delivery notes, immediately raising discrepancies and quality issues with the Stock Control Specialist.
- Stockroom Management Keep stock and stockrooms tidy and clean, adhering to Health & Safety standards. Ensure safe handling, storage, and packing of all merchandise.
- Stock Integrity Ensure all stock is correctly ticketed and priced, immediately raising any discrepancies with the Stock Control Specialist. You will action price changes and markdowns when necessary.
- Replenishment Replenish items on the shopfloor in relevant divisions. Coordinate with the salesfloor team on scheduling for items from House Stationery.
- Returns to Vendor (RTVs) Pick and pack RTV stock in line with Harrods expectation and ensure safe dispatch.
- Highlight any discrepancies to the Stock Control Specialist and Stock Operations Manager.
This is a permanent part-time position, working 15 hours across Saturday and Sunday. You should be prepared to work as part of a team, sharing knowledge and demonstrating flexibility.

About You
You will be an individual with excellent time-management skills and the ability and willingness to multi-task. You will have attention to detail while working under tight deadlines, and the ability to perform duties effectively with minimum supervision and guidance.
You will thrive in this role if:
- You are comfortable performing manual handling duties, adhering to relevant guidance and training.
- You are fully conversant and up to date with all relevant SAP functionalities.
- You are proficient with PC literacy and numeracy.
- You are proficient with using Microsoft Office, including Excel and Outlook.
- You are able to maintain a filing system for delivery packing lists and ensure security procedures are followed at all times to prevent theft or stock loss.
