Night Chef De Partie Baker

We are now looking for a Night Baker who loves being right at the heart of the action to join our wonderful Bakery team. Our Bakers ensure that our world-class food halls and restaurants are stocked with mesmerizing breads and viennoiserie, baked fresh on site every single day.  

About the Role 

As one of our Bakers, you'll be at the heart of the action, preparing all kinds of patisserie, breads and baked goods, organising ingredients, and keeping the kitchen clean. Your role is to act as a vital part of the bakery team by ensuring the smooth running of a section and providing support to the senior chefs and other team members. 

In this role, you'll actively provide direction and support to the team to deliver the day to day operational requirements. You'll assist the management in the planning and forecasting of stock and orders, support with the organisation, stock rotation and labelling of food that is stored. You'll guarantee that Food Safety standards are adhered to by enforcing a high standard of hygiene and sanitation in all-food related outlets. 

This role is fully on-site, working nights so you must be able to work from 9pm until 7am.

About You  

You'll be an exceptional baker with time spent at Chef de Partie level or above, and have extensive experience with artisanal baking techniques which includes working with sourdough and other laminated bakery products. Having a great knowledge and passion for food and drink is essential. You'll have great time-management skills and a strong customer focus when dealing with both internal and external parties.  

You'll have exceptional interpersonal skills and a good attention to detail, which will be evident through paperwork completed, organisation of department and sufficient stock levels. You'll be able to demonstrate effective leadership and management skills by coaching, inspiring and motivating the team. Having good PC literacy is a must.
