Job Description

Entire Person Education is seeking a compassionate and creative Facilitator to deliver our fully funded emotional-literacy workshops for primary-aged autistic and SEND pupils. Using
The Book of Brave Feelings
as a stimulus, you will guide children through interactive storytelling, PECS-informed activities, and creative expression. You will work within schools across Haringey and Enfield, ensuring sessions are engaging, accessible, and supportive. All training and materials are provided.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver 45–60 minute creative emotional-literacy workshops in primary schools.
  • Facilitate storytelling, PECS-informed activities, and interactive group work.
  • Create a safe, inclusive environment for autistic and SEND pupils.
  • Adapt sessions to accommodate a range of communication styles and abilities.
  • Liaise professionally with school staff to support smooth workshop delivery.
  • Record brief session feedback and maintain safeguarding best practice.

Requirements

  • Experience working with children in primary school settings.
  • Confidence supporting autistic and SEND learners.
  • Strong communication and facilitation skills.
  • Reliability and ability to travel across Haringey and Enfield.
  • Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one).
  • Availability between mid-January and end of February 2026.

Qualifications / Experience

  • Experience facilitating creative, emotional-literacy, or educational workshops.
  • Knowledge of SEND or autism-support approaches (e.g., PECS) is highly desirable.
  • Experience working with children aged 4–11.
  • Familiarity with safeguarding principles.
  • Ability to design or adapt short, engaging activities.
  • Confidence using simple digital tools for planning or recording sessions.
