We are looking for a compassionate and committed Self-Employed Support Worker to provide one-to-one support to a young adult who works at Starbucks Lincoln A15. This role is funded through Access to Work and is designed to help her develop confidence, build practical skills, and feel supported throughout her working day.

About the Role

You will work alongside her within the Starbucks environment, supporting with:

  • On-the-job training and skill development
  • Encouraging confidence in day-to-day café tasks
  • Building independence and workplace routines
  • Supporting social interactions and customer engagement
  • Helping her feel comfortable, capable, and successful in her role

What We're Looking For

  • Experience working with individuals with additional learning needs (essential)
  • A patient, understanding, and person-centred approach
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with the store team
  • Previous hospitality or café experience is beneficial, but full role-specific training will be provided
  • Someone reliable, encouraging, and adaptable to her needs and pace of learning

Hours & Pay

  • 16 hours per week, worked across 3 days
  • Some flexibility with the specific days
  • Very occasional weekend work may be required in the future
  • £18.00 per hour (self-employed)

Additional Information

This role is self-employed and funded through Access to Work. The successful applicant will be responsible for invoicing and managing their own tax obligations.
