**Support Worker & Senior Support Worker Roles Available - Allerton Care & Support**

We’re looking for Support Workers / Care assistants and Senior Support Workers to join our team

**Driving licence would be advantageous**

Support Worker : £10.00 per hour

Senior Support Worker : £10.45 per hour

**About the Support Worker/Senior Support Worker role**:
We want Support Workers / Care Assistants who are enthusiastic and looking to make a difference for the people we support

Support Worker / Care Assistant to deliver person
- centred support to people with Mental Health or learning disabilities promoting their independence and helping to achieve goals and aspirations so that our people live the life they choose.

We need Support workers / Care assistants who are reliable, trustworthy respectful and understand the importance of a support worker / Care Assistant role.

**A typical day as a Support/Senior worker involves**:

- Support with shopping, correspondence, meal preparation, and household chores.
- Prompting daily personal care, whilst maintaining privacy, dignity, and respect.
- Support with planning and attending leisure or educational activities. This can range from day centres, College, gardening clubs, bingo, discos, meals out, bowling, holidays, and day trips such as zoos or sporting events.
- Administering medication and arranging medical appointments as required.
- Encouraging and supporting individuals to maintain friendships and family links.
- Using our note-taking system to provide handover to staff with important information.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: £10.00-£10.45 per hour
