Business Operations Administrator

Salary: £24,000 – £28,000 (dependent on experience)

Contract Type: Permanent

Hours: Monday – Friday, 9:00 – 16: hours per week)

We're looking for a Business Operations Administrator to be the welcoming face of our Head Office and provide essential administrative support across the organisation. This role is perfect for someone organised, professional, and confident working in a busy office environment. Full training will be provided.

What You'll Do

  • Welcome visitors and manage front-desk duties, including signing in, issuing passes, and directing appropriately
  • Act as the first point of contact for incoming telephone calls and routine customer queries
  • Manage incoming and outgoing mail, deliveries, and courier requests
  • Provide administrative support across departments, including data entry, document filing, minute-taking, and report logging
  • Assist with updates to the ProQual Platinum System (PPS) during busy periods
  • Prepare meeting rooms, arrange refreshments, and support meeting setup
  • Take accurate minutes for internal meetings and circulate them promptly
  • Collate, format, and distribute documentation for internal and external use
  • Order and monitor office supplies, ensuring stock levels are maintained
  • Support ad-hoc tasks and provide flexible administrative assistance across the business when needed

About You

  • Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Professional communication skills, both face-to-face and over the phone
  • Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience in minute-taking and handling confidential information
  • Able to manage multiple tasks and work well under pressure
  • Flexible, proactive, and comfortable supporting colleagues across different teams
  • Experience in an awarding body or regulated environment (desirable but not essential)
