Sleeping Night Carer (Sleep-In Role) £120.00 per sleep

As a fully employed Sleeping Night Carer, you are in control. We offer excellent rates of pay, flexibility around your availability, and the opportunity to support individuals safely in their own homes overnight.

Overview

We are seeking a calm, reliable, and compassionate Sleeping Night Carer to join our team. This role provides reassurance and light support during the night, with responsibility to wake and assist as required.

No personal care is required for this position.

Typical shift times are 22:00 – 07:00 (to be confirmed).

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide a reassuring overnight presence within the client's home
  • Respond appropriately if the client wakes and requires support during the night
  • Offer light assistance such as reassurance, guidance, or helping the client settle
  • Monitor wellbeing and report any concerns or changes to the appropriate team member
  • Maintain accurate records of any support provided overnight
  • Follow care plans and risk assessments at all times
  • Communicate effectively with the care team to ensure continuity of care

What This Role Does Not Involve

  • No personal care tasks
  • No manual handling
  • No clinical duties

Requirements

  • A caring, calm, and dependable nature
  • Good communication skills in English
  • Ability to remain alert and responsive overnight
  • Reliability and professionalism at all times
  • Ability to work independently
  • Previous care experience is desirable but not essential — full guidance provided
