Work Directly With the Founders, Build a Global Venture Platform

At Syrena, we're not just building a startup - we're building an ecosystem.

We've built a community of 20,000 investors and startups, and helped startups raise £15M+ through our fundraising SaaS platform.

As Founder Associate, you'll work directly with the founder to:


• Operate at the intersection of tech, community, venture, and revenue


• Run point on partnerships, investor outreach, platform testing, deal tracking, and event strategy


• See the inner workings of a fast-growing fundraising engine - and shape it

This is not a passive role. You have exposure to everything - and you'll be expected to execute.

You'll learn how deals get done, how real traction is built, and how to go from zero to something that matters.

What You'll Do

This will vary week to week, but here are the key buckets:


• Investor & Founder Funnel Ops

Help onboard and support founders and investors into the platform. Review applications, flag strong deals, and track intros and outcomes.


• Partnership Execution

Support delivery and follow-up with service provider partners and sponsors. Track meetings, update CRMs, and make sure everyone gets value.


• Event Support

Assist in event coordination, speaker research, outreach, and onsite support (physical and digital events).


• Product Feedback

Test features, gather user feedback, support onboarding flows, and help refine our investor/founder matching systems.


• Founder Shadowing

Sit in on high-level partnership calls, deck reviews, investor discussions, and strategic planning sessions. Learn how high-context startup decision-making happens.

• Action bias — you get things done quickly, without waiting for permission


• Detail-oriented — you can write a crisp follow-up, take accurate notes, and track outcomes


• Comfortable in chaos — we move fast, and you'll need to adapt


• Ambitious — you want to build your own thing one day, and you treat this like training for that
