Overview

We are seeking a professional and welcoming Hotel Receptionist to join our team for afternoon work Fridays and Saturdays from 12-8 or The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic hospitality environment, contributing to memorable guest experiences. The position is suitable for individuals with a passion for hospitality and guest services.

Responsibilities

  • Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist with check-in and check-out procedures
  • Manage reservations efficiently using the hotel management system
  • Provide information about hotel facilities, local attractions, and services
  • Handle guest enquiries via phone, email, or in person with professionalism and courtesy
  • Address guest concerns promptly and escalate issues when necessary to ensure satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of guest details and billing information
  • Process payments securely and issue receipts as required
  • Uphold hotel policies and procedures at all times to ensure safety and security

Skills

  • Excellent phone etiquette with clear communication skills
  • Previous experience in hotel reception or guest services is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate
  • Experience with Hotel booking systems.
  • Ability to remain calm under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Friendly, approachable demeanour with a professional appearance
  • Knowledge of hospitality industry standards and customer service excellence
  • Experience from f&b
