The Opportunity

In partnership with Volvo and Remit Training, we're offering qualified Light Vehicle Technicians a fully funded conversion programme to become a Heavy Goods Vehicle (HGV) Technician.

You'll attend specialist training blocks (3–5 days at a time, roughly once a month for 7 months) at Remit's state-of-the-art Training Academy in Derby — with all travel and accommodation expenses paid.

  • Service, repair, and maintain Volvo trucks, buses, and luxury coaches
  • Work with cutting-edge technology, including hybrid and electric vehicles
  • Use advanced diagnostic systems and Volvo's special tools
  • Deliver the highest standards of workmanship and customer care

Who We're Looking For

  • Ideally, a Level 3 Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Principles (Level 2 considered) or similar qualification
  • Enthusiastic, reliable, and eager to learn
  • Committed to developing your career in the HGV sector
