The role

As a Vehicle Quality Control Technician, you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You'll be at the heart of ensuring our defence vehicles meet the highest standards of quality, technical specifications, and performance. Day-to-day you'll be:

• Inspecting vehicle parts and monitoring build activities to ensure compliance with specifications.
• Assessing pulse line performance and validating quality assurance documentation.
• Reviewing supplier certifications and supporting robust audit programs.
• Collaborating with operational teams to drive continuous improvement.
• Providing quality assurance support across procurement and supply chain activities.

This role is full time , 37.5 hours per week and is based on site at Devonport.

Essential experience of the Vehicle Quality Control Technician:

• Proven experience in HGV/PCV vehicle maintenance, assembly, inspection, and testing.
• Strong PC skills (MS Office).
• A team player with excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

Qualifications for the Vehicle Quality Control Technician:

• CAT C HGV Driving Licence as a minimum

The successful candidate must be able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
