HR ADMINISTRATOR
We are looking for an organised and proactive part time HR Administrator to join our busy team. In this role, you'll provide essential support across all areas of HR, including recruitment, onboarding, employee records, and payroll administration. You'll be the first point of contact for HR queries, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for employees at all levels. The ideal candidate will have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to handle confidential information with discretion. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to begin or grow their HR career in a supportive and dynamic environment.
The role is 22.2 hours per week, Term Time only plus INSETS and one additional week (40 weeks per year)
Salary £25,252 - £26,262 for full time
Pro rata will apply (£13,206 - £13,732 per annum)
ROLE PURPOSE:
To provide an effective and efficient HR administration service to The Skinners' Kent Academy, Skinners' Kent Primary School and Skinners' Temple Grove.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
To support the issue and coordination of all Safeguarding, Prevent and other essential annual training for all staff in the three Academies ensuring that staff have completed it and that staff training records have been updated on completion and copies of certificates are retained on individual's files.
To ensure compliance with HR recruitment administration including: the Single Central Record, DBS, references, medical checks, and other checks associated with Safer Recruitment.
To be responsible for offer letters, contract variations, issuing of contracts, , diarising fixed term contracts and issuing notice letters, , maternity, paternity and other absences, probation period records as well as supporting on job evaluation and exit interviews.
To support with disciplinaries, grievance, capability and poor performance.
To prepare, process and record pay reviews, and provide administration for the annual performance management review (PMR)/appraisal.
To keep abreast of developments in key areas of responsibility, including legal updates affecting the HR function and to think creatively and constructively to ensure that the job is done in the most effective and efficient way.
Maintain both hard and electronic HR filing systems and update personnel records as appropriate.
Produce reports and analyse personnel data, trends and patterns to support workforce planning and decision making.
Provide support to update and maintain aspects of the Staff Handbook and HR policies.
