We're thrilled to offer an exciting opportunity for a friendly and reliable Retail Sales Assistant to join our team in York. Our York store is one of our longest-standing locations, having served riders since 2002. It's home to a passionate and enthusiastic team who are always ready to go the extra mile for our customers.

As one of the UK's leading retailers of motorcycle helmets, clothing, and accessories, we've proudly served motorcycle riders for 25 years. With 16 stores across the UK and a comprehensive online retail website, we have a team of over 150 dedicated staff members committed to delivering exceptional service.

What you'll be doing:

In this dynamic sales role, you'll be at the forefront of delivering outstanding customer service in a fast-paced, specialist retail environment. We're seeking a confident, proactive individual with excellent sales skills. You'll need to build strong relationships with our customers, helping them find the perfect products while meeting individual and team sales targets.

This is a supervisory role, and as a key holder, you will be responsible for opening and closing the store. You will be a self-motivated individual with a strong work ethic, able to work independently and assist in supervising the team to ensure the smooth operation of the shop floor.

What you'll need:

We're seeking someone passionate about learning and dedicated to ensuring our customers' satisfaction. You should be confident, enthusiastic, and thrive in a busy retail environment.

• Proven experience in a customer service and sales role is essential. You should have a track record of building strong relationships with customers, successfully converting sales, and working towards and achieving targets.
• Experience in the motorcycle retail sector would be ideal.
• The ability to work independently and help supervise a team.
• A self-motivated attitude with a strong work ethic.
• Don't worry if you're not an expert on our products yet - we'll provide comprehensive training on our inventory.
• A strong command of the English language is also required.
• Having a motorcycle license is not a requirement, but it would be a massive bonus

Hours of work:

• Monday to Saturday (9:30 am to 5:30 pm)
• Saturday (9:00 am to 5:00 pm)
• Sunday (10:00 am to 4:00 pm)
• Bank Holidays (10:00 am to 5:00 pm)
