We are looking for a Cosmetic/Beauty Sales Advisor this is a temporary contract ending in August 2026 of 22.0 hours per week over 4 days one of these days will usually be on a weekend. You must be fully flexible in the days/hours you are available to work.

Our expectations are that you will offer excellent service to our customers in assisting them to choose the right cosmetic/fragrance. You will help enhance the customer experience and increase sales.

Cosmetic/Fragrance Sales Advisors responsibilities include demonstrating makeup techniques, suggesting products that meet clients' needs and informing customers about product details, like ingredients, application methods and price. To be successful in this role, you are customer-service oriented and are familiar with a wide range of beauty/fragrance products.

Responsibilities

  • Greet customers upon their arrival
  • Demonstrate the correct use of makeup and skin care products
  • Cross-sell beauty products, when appropriate
  • Identify customer needs and recommend cosmetics and skin care products based on their preferences
  • Help clients find products they're looking for in our store
  • Ensure proper presentation of products on shelves
  • Explain to customers how to use products they show interest
  • Advise customers on how to take care of their skin
  • Inform customers on prices and special offers
  • Replenish stock as needed
  • Requirements and skills
  • Previous experience as a Beauty Advisor or similar role would be preferable ,however full training will be given.
  • Customer service experience in retail stores is a plus
  • Extensive knowledge & interest of makeup, hair care and skin care products is expected.

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Contract length: 9 months
