We are delighted to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading professional services firm headquartered in Edinburgh, for a Client Onboarding Analyst to join their team.
 
This role supports the objectives of the Client & Matter Management team in delivering a high-quality, efficient service to internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that client and matter risk controls and procedures are properly followed during the onboarding process. 
 
Operating within the wider finance function, the role requires strong communication skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and a commitment to delivering results under pressure.

What you'll do
  • Work collaboratively within the Client & Matter Management team to meet departmental goals and service standards
  • Ensure accurate and compliant setup of new clients and matters, following established risk control procedures
  • Provide essential administrative support to facilitate the efficient functioning of the team's operations
  • Communicate effectively with internal stakeholders to resolve queries and support onboarding processes
  • Manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality work within tight deadlines
  • Maintain awareness of and adhere to the firm's client identification, verification, and information security
What you'll need
  • Previous experience in a similar role within a professional services/finance service business is preferred
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work effectively under pressure in a fast-paced environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Experience in administrative or operational support roles, ideally within a legal or professional services environment
  • Familiarity with risk and compliance procedures is desirable.
