Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Print Operator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong mechanical aptitude and a passion for working with various printing equipment. As a Print Operator, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of printing machinery while maintaining high-quality standards. This role requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and maintain printing machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality output.
  • Set up machines for different print jobs, including adjusting settings for colour, size, and material.
  • Conduct routine maintenance on equipment, troubleshooting issues as they arise.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of print orders.
  • Perform quality checks on printed materials to ensure adherence to specifications.
  • Assist in the assembly and fabrication of printed products as needed.
  • Maintain a clean and organised workspace, adhering to safety protocols at all times.

Skills

  • Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to troubleshoot and repair printing equipment.
  • Previous warehouse experience is preferred, particularly in roles involving heavy lifting and assembly tasks.
  • Ability to lift heavy materials safely and efficiently as required by the role.
