Role Overview

We are looking for a reliable and skilled Production Operative to join our busy signage production team. The ideal candidate will have experience working within the signage or wide format print industry, with a hands-on approach and a strong eye for detail.

You'll be responsible for producing, finishing, and preparing a range of printed and fabricated signage products, working closely with our design and installation teams to ensure projects are completed to Liberty Signs' high standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate wide format printers, laminators, and cutting equipment.
  • Prepare and finish graphics — including trimming, weeding, laminating, and mounting to substrates such as foamex, dibond, and acrylic.
  • Assist with fabrication and assembly of signs and graphics.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe production area.
  • Ensure all work meets quality control standards and project deadlines.
  • Support the installation team when required (occasional on-site work).
  • Follow company processes, H&S requirements, and supervisor instructions.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in signage, print production, or a similar manufacturing environment.
  • Confident using wide format print and finishing machinery (e.g., Roland, Mimaki, or HP printers).
  • Knowledge of materials and application techniques for vinyl graphics and printed signage.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Reliable, punctual, and able to work efficiently under pressure.
  • Team player with a proactive attitude and willingness to learn new skills.
  • Full UK driving licence (advantageous but not essential).

Pay: £24,420.00-£28,500.00 per year
