This is a hands‑on, varied role that involves the manufacture, preparation, and installation of internal and external signage. You'll work both in‑house and on‑site, so a flexible and professional attitude is essential. Location Signs Express (Manchester), 43 Stretford Motorway Estate, Barton Dock Road, Trafford Park, Manchester, M32 0ZH Salary Competitive, based on experience Working Hours Full‑time position, Monday‑Friday, 8:00am - 5:00pm About Us At Signs Express (Manchester), part of the UK's leading signage franchise, we specialise in providing high‑quality, bespoke signage solutions for a wide range of local and national clients. From design and manufacture to installation, we pride ourselves on excellent customer service and outstanding results. Responsibilities Operate and maintain large format printers, vinyl cutters and laminators. Manufacture and assemble a wide range of signage solutions using vinyl application, digital printing, and other techniques. Assist lead installer when required with installation of all types of internal and external signage, including fascia and post‑mounted signs at clients' premises. Apply vinyl onto a variety of substrates including vehicles, vehicle wraps and window graphics. Interpret briefs accurately with a great understanding of different signage and manufacturing techniques. Sign making, working with a wide range of substrates including Dibond, acrylics, metals, wood, vinyl and Foamex, to a consistently high standard. Ensure all works are completed on time, to budget and to our usual high standards. Follow all company procedures and guidelines to ensure all signs are fitted safely and securely. Take responsibility for your own and others' health and safety when working. Ensure Risk Assessments and Method Statements are understood and followed. Provide outstanding customer service to our clients and others at all times. Requirements Signage and Graphic industry experience desirable but not essential. Positive, can‑do attitude; well‑organised and able to work alone as well as part of a team. Ability to interpret briefs accurately. IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations desirable but not essential. Clean driving licence desirable but not essential. Good timekeeping. Professional, flexible, enthusiastic individual, strong communicator, well‑organised and able to work alone as well as part of a team. An understanding of the importance of health & safety.
