The Role

As a Quantity Surveyor you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the contractual and financial side of construction projects. This role requires expertise in mechanical installations, the ability to understand and measure drawings accurately, and proficiency in administering NEC/JCT forms of contract. You will also be responsible for completing monthly reports and conducting client meetings. As part of the project team you will be ensuring budgets, programmes and risks are being effectively monitored and mitigated.

Key responsibilities will include the following:

  • Financial Management
  • Client and Stakeholder Engagement
  • Manage and produce/take off Bill of Quants (BoQ)

About You

You will have an ONC/HNC (Building Services / Construction Management / Quantity Surveying and experience in mechanical installations. We are looking for someone with strong proficiency in measuring drawings and cost estimation inline with the drawings, schedules and specifications. Experience with NEC contract administration is preferred but not essential. You will have Strong analytical and problem-solving skills and excellent communication and negotiation skills. Although not essential Chartered Membership of RICS or CIOB would be ideal
