We are seeking a proactive and professional Receptionist and Office Administrator to be the welcoming face of our business and support smooth daily office operations. This key role combines front-of-house responsibilities with administrative support across the business, helping to maintain an organised, efficient, and positive workplace environment. You will be the first point of contact for visitors and callers, ensuring a warm and professional welcome at all times, while assisting departments with essential administrative tasks.

Key responsibilities

  • Greet all visitors, clients and contractors in a friendly, professional manner
  • Manage visitor sign-in process and issue passes
  • Verify contractor identification and liaise with Security regarding access approvals
  • Answer and direct incoming calls; take accurate messages when needed
  • Monitor and respond to emails professionally and promptly
  • Provide administrative support to multiple departments
  • Coordinate and order catering for internal meetings and events
  • Maintain meeting rooms to ensure they remain clean, tidy, and well-presented
  • Order office supplies, stationery, and refreshments
  • Coordinate cleaning services and report facilities issues as required
  • Oversee car park usage and assist with related enquiries

Essential skills and experience

  • Recent experience in a receptionist, front-of-house, or administrative role
  • Friendly, professional, and approachable manner with strong interpersonal skills
  • Highly organised with excellent attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
