Working under The Original Property Services Wakefield Ltd; we are a Group of companies covering property investment, construction, interior design, finance, conveyancing and letting within a fast-growing organisation focused on delivering exceptional service and value to our clients both within the UK and overseas. Our areas of coverage range from the Yorkshire to the Greater Manchester and Merseyside regions however primary office based duties will be within our Wakefield Head Office. As we continue to expand, we're looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to join our team and play a key role in our growth as our client base continues to grow stronger year on year.

Job Summary

We are seeking a proactive and strategic Business Development Manager to drive growth and expand our client base. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, building strong relationships with potential clients, and developing innovative strategies to increase revenue. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the organisation's long-term success through effective market analysis and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and industry events across target markets.
  • Provide expert guidance to our on their investment strategy.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients, partners, and long term existing stakeholders.
  • Develop tailored proposals, pitch presentations, and sales strategies.
  • Assist with the sourcing and sales of development projects.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on market needs.
  • Initiate and utilise CRM software, to track leads, manage contacts, and monitor sales pipelines effectively.
  • Analyse market trends and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making.
  • Attend industry conferences, seminars, and networking events to promote the organisation's services.
  • Deliver monthly sales reports and forecasts.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in business development or sales roles, preferably within the Real Estate Industry.
  • Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Knowledge of CRM software platforms.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills with the ability to influence decision-makers.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop strategic plans and execute them successfully.
  • Organised with strong analytical skills to interpret market data and identify opportunities.
  • Self-motivated with a proactive approach to building relationships and closing deals.
  • A recognised qualification in Business Administration, Marketing or related fields is desirable but not essential. This position offers a dynamic environment where your initiative can directly impact organisational growth while providing opportunities for professional development within a supportive team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £40,000.00-£45,000.00 per year
