Head of Business Development – ESG & Sustainability Data

Paying up to £170k + bonus + benefits

London based (Hybrid working)

I'm supporting a leading ESG and Sustainability data provider in hiring a Head of Business Development to lead their commercial and marketing teams.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a proven commercial leader to shape strategy, drive revenue growth, and strengthen relationships with top-tier financial institutions across the UK and EMEA.

This role sits at the intersection of sustainability, data, and finance, offering the chance to make a tangible impact on how investors integrate ESG into their portfolios.

Key Responsibilities:

- Leading and inspiring high-performing Business Development and Marketing teams

- Defining and executing a commercial strategy across the UK & EMEA

- Managing revenue budgets and delivering strong financial performance

- Strengthening relationships with leading Asset Managers, Wealth Managers, and Banks

- Collaborating closely with senior leadership on strategic growth initiatives

Experience:

- 15+ years in Client Relationship Management / Business Development

- Proven ability to manage the full sales cycle and deliver commercial growth

- Strong track record across UK and EMEA markets

- Excellent leadership and team development skills

- Established network of senior-level contacts in the financial sector

- Fluency in English and Spanish (Italian a plus)
