About the role:
This is a new and exciting role to join the events team at LifeArc. The team delivers LifeArc's extensive events programmes which are rapidly expanding – from internal engagement activities to major external conferences. This role will have a particular focus on managing and coordinating all aspects of the first-floor events space at our Lynton House office in London. Suitable candidates will be early in their events career and will see this as a great opportunity to contribute their events experience gained so far, and develop and grow further in a mission focused environment.
About you:
You will be responsible for:
- Coordinating and delivering events hosted on the first floor of LifeArc HQ at Lynton House, ensuring seamless organisation and high-quality execution.
- Acting as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external partners using the space.
- Managing bookings, room layouts, AV, catering, and logistics in collaboration with Facilities and IT.
- Supporting the Head of Events and Events Managers in planning and delivering key organisational events, including One LifeArc Day, conferences, and partner workshops.
- Assisting with budget tracking, supplier coordination, and purchase orders.
- Maintaining accurate event documentation, calendars, and post-event evaluation reports.
- Upholding LifeArc's brand and values across all events, ensuring the space reflects a professional, welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Supporting continuous improvements to event delivery processes and systems.
Education & experience required:
Essential experience:
- Experience in event coordination, venue management or operations, ideally in a corporate, charity, or academic setting.
- Strong organisational and communication skills, with excellent attention to detail.
- Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with booking or event software is desirable.
- A proactive and adaptable approach, with a strong sense of ownership.
- Proficiency in MS Office software (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
Desirable:
- Experience delivering hybrid or virtual events.
- Familiarity with health, science, or research organisations.
Understanding of event health and safety or compliance procedures.
Skills & abilities:
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities.
- Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.
- Confident communicator with a customer-focused approach.
- Comfortable managing event logistics from planning to execution.
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Able to work independently while contributing to a team environment.
- Positive, can-do attitude with a passion for creating impactful experiences.

Salary will be determined by qualifications and experience along with other exceptional benefits.
