Job Summary

We are seeking a meticulous Quality Control Inspector to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring that products meet the required quality standards before they are released to customers.

Primary Responsibilities

Inspection and measurement activities relating to:

o Raw materials/components

o Stent Graft

o Delivery system

  • Inspection as per requirement defined within control plan
  • Be knowledgeable on the types of documentation received for each raw material
  • Adheres to and maintains controls of Clean Room working standards throughout the in processinspection
  • Reading and adhering to engineering drawings within the company procedures and work instructions
  • Inspection of in process and finished product
  • Carry out pre finished inspection prior to dispatch
  • Complete inspection of full graft
  • Once loaded complete load inspection
  • Complete inspection on final build devices
  • Pouch and label the product and pass to Production for packing.
  • Approval of product after QC Inspection
  • Ensure all paperwork is completed accurately throughout all stages of the inspection process
  • Liaise with the Stores department to ensure priority requirements are managed appropriately.
  • Cover incoming goods/outgoing using Navision

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Escalate any deviations to the protocols, including raw materials, in process and finished product
  • Ensure all instrumentation involved in the quality control inspection process is maintained to requiredstandards
  • Support calibration of measuring instrumentation required to carry out the inspection process (e.g. benchprofile projectors)
  • Support with ad hoc project work (e.g. continuous improvement projects)
  • Carry out laboratory testing on specialist materials (to support the development of the product)
  • Raise non-conformance where component or process related issues are identified (including containment ofaffected components.
  • Provide administration support regarding the booking in of stents, raw materials and components.
  • Verifying labelling and all associated documentation supplied meets requirements.

Skills (Essential)

Ability to work within a cleanroom environment and wear cleanroom clothing Experience carrying out precise tasks

Close attention to detail in working tasks and experience following procedures

Good standard of eyesight and dexterity for close work and tool use
