Shaftec continually strives to increase its current customer base within the UK, as well as expanding into left-hand drive market opportunities in Europe. We are currently looking for a 2 new Area Sales Managers based in the Midlands / South and South East of the UK.

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining and increasing sales
  • Reaching targets and goals set for your area and the team
  • Establishing, maintaining and expanding your customer base
  • Collecting customer feedback and market research along with competitor's information
  • Keeping up to date with products and competitors
  • Acquire a thorough understanding of customer needs and requirements
  • Serve as the link of communication between customers and internal team
  • Resolve any issues and problems faced by customers and deal with complaints to maintain trust
  • Play an integral part in maintaining sales that will turn into a long-lasting relationship
  • Analysing data to ensure customers are performing / improving
  • Manage stock reprofiling process for customers
  • Dexterity within the role for overnight stays where required
  • Understanding of vehicle driving requirements to cover regional area responsibilities

  • People's skills: must be able to easily get along with people.
  • Must possess excellent communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Ability to maintain positive disposition and be effective at work even when under pressure.
  • Possession of administration skills.
  • Ability to meet given deadlines.
  • Ability to multitask and still work effectively.
  • A good level of IT/computer skills and a working knowledge of email, internet, MS Word and Excel.
  • Self-motivated

Annual Salary £40,000 to £50,000 depending on experience.
